You will learn what my hi-profile clients do to stay fit and trim or when they come to me and need to get in the best shape possible. You will find out what foods are harmful to you. Plus, you will learn what my, Secret Fat Loss & Digestive Helpers are to aid you in eating foods you may never have been able to eat before.

Understanding the foundation of health is vital if you are looking to:

shed fat quicker, thought you’d never be able to look and feel great without having to totally change your diet, or suffer from autoimmune disease, a hyperactive immune state with issues ranging from asthma, allergies, eczema, migraines, hormone imbalance, pre- or post-menopausal symptoms, weight management issues, anxiety, stress, and mood disorders.

Some clients have issues related to weight, while others have more involved and complex health concerns. For clients whose issues revolve solely around weight, you will be given access to weekly videos, after your initial consultation and on board with the program.

For all clients who suffer from a hyperactive immune state, the 12-week Transition program teaches about the pillars of health as it relates to your health concerns. If there are any disruptions in the pillars of health, disease will follow.

Over the course of the 12-week Transition program, you will be empowered to take control of your life, learn the language of your body as it relates to weight and your health. You will begin to understand that every individual responds very differently to foods, which is why no diet works the same for every person.

We will build your customized Foundation of Health that will empower you to avoid future health diagnosis by recognizing early red flags and warning signs of Disease and restore your health. This may shock you, but it will also change your life!

Kim will meet with you by telephone or web-conference for 12, 45-minute sessions. A client who feels they need more assistance may opt for additional consultations, blood work and interpretation, personal training sessions in person or by video conference.

Some clients have issues solely related to weight; in that event, we will talk about insulin/cortisol and high/low insulin secretors, we will test your blood sugar to see which one you are and with my help, customize an eating program that is best for you. Others, who have more involved health concerns, have disruptions in their pillars of health and we will address your concerns and start the correction process

You will view 1 educational video per week, and answer questions that will pertain to the video and yourself. We will go over the answers during our weekly call.

You will have 12, 45 minute scheduled 1 on 1 phone calls with me that will take place once a week.

Weekly Journaling is required in the 12-week Journal provided to you. You will text, or email your weekly Journal prior to your weekly call.

 Supplementation to address Digestion, Gut health, Inflammation, Glutathione levels and or Health issues will be provided monthly. Additional supplementation can be purchased upon request if needed.

Kim doesn’t ignore bad movements, Kim helps fix them. Corrective exercise was originally developed to help athletes of all ages, avoid injury. However, today more people who come to Kim have injuries and they need to be taken care of. Kim utilizes what she has learned to help those in need.

Functional Movement

Powerfull Paradigm Shift in exercise and rehabilitation.

Kim’s mission is to help people move better and then move often. The philosophy was introduced in 1995, at a time when there was no systematic tool to identify movement asymmetries or major limitations in functional movement patterns.

The system promotes collaboration between performance and rehabilitation professionals through the use of two tools - the Functional Movement Screen™ and the Selective Functional Movement Assessment™.

  • Movement Matters: Movement quality is an essential component to reducing the risk of injury and reaching optimal levels of performance. 
  • Systematic Approach: A reliable baseline to screen and evaluate movement is key to providing actionable and effective steps for performance and recovery. 
  • Communication: The system allows for performance and rehabilitation professionals to speak the same language when communicating client progress and treatment.
Functional Movement Screen

FMS is the screening tool used to identify limitations or asymmetries in seven fundamental movement patterns that are key to functional movement quality in individuals with no current pain complaint or known musculoskeletal injury.

These movement patterns are designed to provide observable performance of basic loco motor, manipulative and stabilizing movements by placing an individual in extreme positions where weaknesses and imbalances become noticeable if appropriate mobility and motor control is not utilized.

Selective Functional Movement Assessment

The SFMA is the movement based diagnostic system, designed to clinically assess 7 fundamental movement patterns in those with known musculoskeletal pain. The assessment provides an efficient method to systematically find the cause of symptoms, not just the source, by logically breaking down dysfunctional patterns and diagnosing their root cause as either a mobility problem or a stability/motor control problem.

This systematic process allows Kim to clearly match their intervention to the main problem of the patient. This model efficiently integrates the concepts of altered motor control, the neurodevelopmental perspective, and regional interdependence into musculoskeletal practice.

Corrective Exercise

A system for functional movement helps Kim, ID corrective patterns, and mobility competency, in order to work on static motor control, then dynamic motor control, and boost your level of performance.

  • Primitive patterns are early in the developmental sequence. 
  • Even though primitive patterns may not look like function, they are very important to function.
  • Rolling, prone on elbows, crawling, tall kneeling, half kneeling, bridging, pushing up, deep squatting and eventually standing are all developmental patterns. 
  • We use primitive patterns to develop a base of static and dynamic stability as well as controlled mobility. 
  • We reduce load and positions to reacquire movement without the need to compensate or substitute.
